Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your enrollment in any Example Education AB bootcamp, course, or training program. By applying, enrolling, or attending, you agree to these Terms.

1. Enrollment

1.1 Application and acceptance

Submitting an application does not guarantee a seat. We review each application and conduct a short admissions call before offering enrollment. A seat is reserved only when we receive your signed enrollment agreement and deposit.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old. Participants under 18 require written parental consent. Some programs may have additional prerequisites listed on their respective pages.

2. Fees and payment

2.1 Tuition

Current tuition fees are listed on each program page. Prices include VAT when paid privately. Prices exclude VAT when billed to an organization.

2.2 Payment schedule

  • A non-refundable deposit of 5,000 SEK is due to reserve your seat.
  • The remaining balance is due before the program start date, unless an installment plan has been agreed in writing.
  • Corporate training: payment terms are specified in the individual training agreement.

2.3 Installment plans

Installment plans are available on a case-by-case basis. If you opt for installments, late payments may incur a fee of 50 SEK per reminder, capped at 500 SEK.

3. Refunds and cancellation

3.1 Cancellation by you

  • Before the program starts: Cancellations made 14 or more days before the start date receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days receive a 50% refund minus the deposit.
  • After the program starts: No refund is available once the program has begun, except under the money-back guarantee (section 3.3).
  • Statutory right: Swedish consumers retain their 14-day cancellation right under the Distance Contracts Act.

3.2 Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a cohort due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available cohort.

3.3 Money-back guarantee (10-week bootcamps)

If you complete all coursework, attend at least 85% of sessions, and do not receive a relevant job offer within 6 months of graduation, we will refund your tuition in full. You must actively participate in the career support program (mock interviews, applications, and check-ins) to qualify.

4. Code of conduct

We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment. By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
  • Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.
  • Submit your own work. Plagiarism or cheating results in immediate dismissal without refund.
  • Respect the intellectual property of others in your projects.
  • Not use bootcamp resources to build or distribute malicious software.

Violations may result in a warning, suspension, or immediate dismissal. Dismissed students are not entitled to a refund.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 Course materials

All curriculum, slides, exercises, recordings, and written content provided during the program are the intellectual property of Example Education AB. You may use them for personal learning but may not redistribute, sell, or publish them without written permission.

5.2 Student projects

Projects you build during the bootcamp are your own. We may showcase student work (anonymized or with consent) for promotional purposes.

6. Certification

Students who complete at least 85% of the program and meet the final project requirements receive a completion certificate. The certificate is not a formal academic degree and does not guarantee employment.

7. Hiring network

We connect graduates with hiring partners as part of our career support. We facilitate introductions but do not guarantee job placement. Hiring decisions are made solely by the hiring companies.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Example Education AB is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in a program. Our total liability is limited to the tuition you paid for the program in question.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For enrolled students, the Terms in effect at the time of enrollment apply throughout the program. For website visitors, the current version posted here always applies.
